The Board’s Strategic Plan
In line with its mandate, the Board has developed a four – year Strategic Plan for the period 2014 – 2018 to define its role and streamline its activities as well as map them against measureable objectives and results.
The Strategic Plan is aligned to the vision, mission, values and guiding values of the Board’s operations. It is also aligned to all key legislative, policy and legal frameworks of the government. Through the Strategic Plan, the Board wants to ensure that it achieves its mid-term and long-term objectives through timely activities and to ensure that FGM issues are addressed adequately through an appropriate linkage among all the stakeholders; the government, the public, private sector, civil society, the media and development partners.
